After being back back for roughly a month, it feels like home and I sorted out all pictures. So you only see only the better shots. Not the mass as in Facebook.

Beeing in China
Is complicated due to my japanese origin.
Every one insists on seeing me as a chinese citizen allthough I’m pretty german by education.Eating: Today I had frog (a lot of bones) and duck tongue, wich is only a few meat but a lot of gristle. But everything tastes good – its fun to recognise how your body and mind react if you finally know what you are eating, although the taste is good!

Anyways, I want to take all private shots with my 35mm Diva which I inherited by my dad who did probably quite a few shots of my childhood with this lens on a Nikon F2!

Christmas Fair – Essen 2011
I’m back home for a couple of days and we went as usual for the christmas fair.
Every year one can find a lightshow with a specific theme at Essen. The 62nd light show is about Slovenia and can be found on every specific light sceme.

I’m now at Essen, where I grew up visiting old friends and my father.
Amazon delivered my tripod and a remote control. Thus I was all prepared for nightshoots.

June 30th they could roll out the new racing car.
Its built after the rules of formula student. And yes – I do miss those times!Just have a look!

New toy / camera
Yes – I bought a new camera.
Due to my loss of my Nikon P7000 in Africa, I needed some exchange.And it was a big change, now its a Nikon D7000.
Best: I can still use a 35mm f/2 prime lens, with which my father probably has taken some of those pictures of my childhood.
But I got it with a 18-105mm kit lens, not the best, but enough for starting.Let’s see how pictures will change…

This night – after studying of course. I went out for a nightshoot.
I know its not the perfect object, but it was just to test how good the camera handles low light situations.
Without a tripod, shot out of my hands.Noise reduction and cropping with Adobe Lightroom.
