  • New toy / camera

    Yes – I bought a new camera.
Due to my loss of my Nikon P7000 in Africa, I needed some exchange.

And it was a big change, now its a Nikon D7000.
Best: I can still use a 35mm f/2 prime lens, with which my father probably has taken some of those pictures of my childhood.
But I got it with a 18-105mm kit lens, not the best, but enough for starting.

Let’s see how pictures will change…

  • Nightshot

This night – after studying of course. I went out for a nightshoot.

I know its not the perfect object, but it was just to test how good the camera handles low light situations.
Without a tripod, shot out of my hands.

Noise reduction and cropping with Adobe Lightroom.

  • Neuschwanstein

An old friend from Essen visited me – thus we went for Neuschwanstein.
    Like all tourist would do!

And I tested my new DSLR πŸ™‚
It was very rainy, so not the best condition for taking some serious shots.
And I’m not very skilled to operate it yet. Enough to learn, enough to study.

  • Wake Ski

Yes – I tried it again.
After my first try and a three stich-suturation, I tried to do it again.

And yes it worked alright, maybe I’ll try it again tommorow.
Sorry but no pic of me on Wake Skies yet πŸ˜‰

  • Nokia E7

More or less 1 month ago, I got my “new” nokia e7.
Some might say – old, but who cares? It got all I need.
    – Mail
    – Internet
    – Texting & WhatsApp
    – last but not least facebook
And all in a perfect skin made of aluminium.

Symbian is not uptodate anymore, but far more than I normally could use!
At least I’m lucky with my choice πŸ˜‰

  • All pictures uploaded

    Hi there,
I finally finished to upload all pictures of South Africa into the gallery.

    Enjoy and have fun!

  • The japanese way of the german “Die Maus”

Yes – everyone knows it. Everyone can see it. But nobody knows how it is to sit in the middle.
In germany our precious TV show “Die Maus” would be the way of educating our little ones.
In Japan it might be more the “manga-style” – and here it comes!

  • My Nikon P7000

Hell yes – I got it!!

A colleague of mine took it to South Africa.
I finally received my new camera. Still not beeing able to handle it to perfection, but I’m learning to set up al those functions like exposition, aperture, ISO, and so on…But its better far better than my nearly 3 years old Canon IXY910-IS grey import.

    Thank You! πŸ™‚

  • 5 days left in Essen / Germany

more or less 5 days left in Germany.

It’s time for family matters, so I’ll spend my last days in Essen.
Not my place of birth, but the town in which i spent more or less 15 years of my life.

Best: I spent 7 hours in the same train, no changes, but a slow inter city train from Kempten to Essen. But best had been to feel and see, how the behaviour changes the farer you get north. Firstly I sat there alone, in the end I had a nice chat with 3 business men having fun twitting themselfs….
    Who’s in?
On monday I’ll be gone for 4 – 5 month, so I won’t have plenty of time, but there’s no limit of cutting a day into pieces.

By the way: the entirely new designed main station looks as dull before…
